SHARE INFORMATION
Cost is on a sliding scale. We are suggesting a price of $725 for a “full” share.
As growers we will work to supply an abundance of vegetables (and fresh herbs and flowers) suitable for an average family for each full share. We feel this price offers a good value all around for a 24 week season, coming to approximately $30 for each weekly pick-up.
For those families and individuals whom this amount doesn’t work for their food budget, we offer a sliding scale. We encourage our members to feel free to support us with what your own food budget allows. We can also take payments over the season for those who this works better for.
We are committed to trying to grow for all in the community who want to become shareholders, and we don’t want the cost of a CSA share to be prohibitive to anyone who wants healthy sustainable food for their families.
We hope this type of cooperative arrangement can work for us all. Of course we will need to succeed economically as a farm operation if we are all going to keep eating!
We do not offer “half” or partial shares as all of our shareholders are “whole” people and whole members of the CSA community.
We also have a limited number of working shares at zero cost. Please get in touch if you are interested in this and being part of the regular work at the farm!
